If you want to change your future, you have to change where you are thinking from.

Keeping our future in focus is a tricky thing - you can't see it, you can't touch it, and language often fails us when we attempt to talk about it. Combine this with the fact that the present, or what is real for us now, is so overwhelmingly powerful, without intention and focus, it can limit what we see is possible for our future, or our organizations future, to nothing more than more of what we already know.

In this talk, I will introduce a way to design and live into your ideal future, a future not limited by what you know, but instead, one that is as limitless as your imagination. And through the conversation, illustrate a way to relate to your world and those around you, in a more empathetic and creative way. All of it in service to creating a foundation that encourages change in organizations that seem to struggle with it.

As a result of this talk, attendees will:

Explore the distinction between listening for fit vs listening for future - depending on where we are listening from, in large part informs, the quality of how we relate to those around us, the world we see, and the future we imagine.

Be introduced to three dimensions of future - we often react to our world in a one-dimensional way, vastly limiting the say we can have on our future. However, responding to our world in three dimensions vastly increases the choices we have a available to us.

Learn how to be to step into a future of our own design - It’s not so much about what we do, or what we say that makes an ideal future reality as much as it is about who we are on the journey.
