In 2018 we compared pay equity analyses to walking on eggshells. One year later, employers across the country are uncovering cracked eggshells in their compensation program. This “discovery” process has been “aided” by OFCCP audits, enactment of robust pay equity state legislation, and the high profile of the #MeToo movement. It’s no longer a question of treading lightly on delicate eggshells. Today’s HR leaders need to know how to successfully create an omelet out of a potentially messy situation underfoot. This presentation will provide such an action plan.

Participants will explore questions like:

1.    What are the most critical data elements to a pay equity analysis?
2.    How is pay equity linked to other HR functions (e.g., FLSA reviews, hiring, merit and incentive allocation)?
3.    What steps can I take to avoid a pay equity concern in my organization?
